Aim of the Job:
This position is responsible for the Supply Chain Management of Mexico (Production Plant Queretaro), US and Canada as well as for the integration of those into the whole AM-N SCM organization. Develop, implement and manage supply chain management strategies to manage cross-company production, imports, inventory management, customer service and overall supply. Manage the logistics flow ensuring that all processes are aligned and ready to supply the production lines, at the plant and at the customer. Ensuring delivery on the correct date and in the correct quantity.
Main Responsabilities:
· Manage the logistic flow ensuring all processes are aligned and ready to supply the production lines at the production plant.
· Ensuring delivery on the correct date and quantity according to demand planning.
· Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring long-term customer relationships for the company
· Develops the SCM strategy in collaboration with Global Operation and aligns it with the needs of the sleeve production plant in Queretaro.
· Optimises the sleeve production plant supply chain and integration into global operations.
· Supports the customer service department in the joint planning of production scheduling, import and delivery to customers' production sites; closely involved in the team's efforts to manage variability in long lead time management and delivery strategy with a focus on minimum stock item (MTO) production
· Provides strategic and tactical direction and ensures lean operations to build a successful SCM team.
· Represents regional demand in the global S&OP process, ensures adequate representation in the global supply network, and work closely with the manufacturing plants to ensure adequate allocations and service levels when needed to ensure continuous supply to customers
He/she must be an energetic driver of change to improve service levels to global manufacturing facilities, revise operational processes and controls, ensure implementation of better data integration tools and drive the team to continuous improvement.
· Leads and develops team members and manages the day-to-day operations of production planning, logistics, procurement, subcontractors, suppliers and compliance.
· Defines, maps and measures the cluster's supply chain through inbound importation, warehousing and outbound transportation to end customers.
· Act proactively and sustainably by seeking to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment and by committing to the company's environmental policy to ensure compliance with the company standards.
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree a plus)
Supply Chain experience of >5 years (experience in a leadership role preferred); preferably involving international logistics, manufacturing and close engagement with CPG customers.
Experience with the maquiladora model desirable
